OLA Special Force Unit Attacked Enemy Troops in Finfinne (Addis Ababa) and Northern Shoa: Killed or Wounded at least 22 at Three Locations

(OLF News, March 24, 2012). On March 19, 2012, a Special Force Unit of the Oromo Liberation Army (OLA) operating in Finfinne (Addis Ababa) attacked an army garrison located around Kotobe at Messalemiya Gebriel, instantly killing 3 and wounding more than 5.

The attack was reported to have been taken during the night. The attacked enemy troops, angered by the sudden attack, have been terrorizing the local population of the area, as has been their habit every time they are attacked by OLA. In particular the troops abducted a local Oromo person named Tasfaayee Dachasa and his whereabouts are unknown.

Meanwhile, the OLA Special Force Unit, continuing its attack in and around Finfinne, have killed a Woyane government loyal intelligence agent named Gebru Fikre in Kalitti area, Akaki town, on March 20, 2012. The Unit took this operation by going to the intelligence officers home. The enemy right hand person was notoriously known in the area for harassing and arresting several innocent Oromo nationals under fabricated charges.

On a related news, on the same day March 20, 2012, another OLA Special Force Unit of the OLA operating in Northern Shoa zone has attacked the Woyane government troops killing 5 and wounding at least 8 in Jidda County [Woreda] in a village called Laga Bari. In this operation OLA was able to confiscate guns and other military equipments and made the property of the Oromo people’s struggle lead by OLF.

The attacks on enemy agents will continue until Oromia is liberated, OLA report said. The OLA Northern Oromian command appealed to all Oromos to support their freedom fighters of OLA in every way they can.
