    October 2011 (OLF Info Desk) Meles Zenawi, the head of dictatorial regime in Ethiopia, once again reaffirmed that an independent and peaceful struggle in Ethiopia is intolerable. In his shivery response for questions raised from the single member of the opposition party- MEDREK representative in the rubberstamp parliament, Meles reiterated that there is no way to a viable peaceful struggle under his regime, except all the oppositions surrender to the ruling party’s interests.     Ethiopian-Americans, Ethiopians, and friends of Ethiopia living in the Washington area and as far as Atlanta and North Carolina gathered and lit candles at 6 PM on Sunday, November 06, 2011, in front of the White House denouncing politically-targeted arrest of many Ethiopians by tyrant Meles Zenawi under the guise of fighting terrorism.
